Once registered and approved, you can place a bid on any live auction. 

When you are ready to bid, you have two options:

1. Bid the minimum increment: You can place a bid for the exact next required amount.

2. Place a custom bid: You can skip increments and manually enter a higher amount to make a stronger statement.

3. Enter a maximum bid: Our system will automatically bid on your behalf up to your maximum amount to keep you in the lead.

Yes. When you place your first bid on a vehicle, we place a temporary pre-authorization hold of 4%

• If you win the auction, this hold is captured and applied as your Buyer’s Premium.
• If you do not win, the hold is immediately released at the auction's close (though it may take your bank a few business days to process the release).

No. All bids on  Supercarbid are legally binding. Please double-check your bid amount before confirming. Only bid if you have the funds available and fully intend to purchase the vehicle.

If you are the winning bidder, you are responsible for paying the final bid price to the seller, plus a Buyer’s Premium to Supercarbid

Our Buyer’s Premium is 4% of the final sale price, with a minimum fee of e.g., €250 and a maximum cap of e.g., €5,000. This fee is charged automatically to the card on file immediately upon winning the auction.

No. The Buyer’s Premium is strictly non-refundable. It covers the platform's services, marketing, and the curation of the vehicles. The only exception is if the seller is proven to have grossly misrepresented the vehicle or fails to complete the sale, which is handled on a case-by-case basis through our dispute resolution team.

To ensure a fair process for all bidders and prevent last-second "sniping," any bid placed within the final 2 minutes of an auction will automatically reset the auction countdown timer back to 2 minutes. The auction will only end when a full 2 minutes pass without any new bids.

Congratulations! At the close of the auction, we will immediately charge your card for the Buyer’s Premium and provide you and the seller with each other’s contact information.!!Need to check if this is correct!!

The buyer and seller are expected to contact each other within 24 hours of the auction ending. The buyer is responsible for transferring the full final bid amount directly to the seller (we recommend escrow) within 7 calendar days. Supercarbid does not handle the funds for the vehicle purchase.

The buyer is entirely responsible for arranging and paying for shipping, transport, or in-person collection of the vehicle, as well as any applicable taxes, registration fees, and import duties.

While we work closely with sellers to draft highly detailed and objective auction listings based on the information and photos they provide, we cannot independently verify every claim. Ultimately, the seller is responsible for the accuracy of the listing. This is why we heavily encourage buyers to ask as many questions in the comments section.

Listing your vehicle on Supercarbid is completely free for sellers. We do not charge listing fees or seller commissions. Our platform is sustained by the Buyer’s Premium, which is paid by the winning bidder.?

Getting started is simple. Click the "Sell Your Car" button and fill out our preliminary submission form. We will ask for basic details (make, model, year, mileage, VIN) and clear representative photos. Our curation team will review your submission and get back to you within 48 hours to let you know if it is a good fit for Supercarbid and if we require more information. ?!? check this process?!?

While professional photos are not strictly mandatory, they are highly recommended. Auctions with clear, comprehensive galleries consistently achieve higher final bids. We require detailed photos covering the exterior and interior of the vehicle, along with clear images of the correct paperwork (such as the title, registration, and any service records).

Yes. You can choose to list your car with a Reserve (a hidden minimum price) or at No Reserve (meaning it will sell to the highest bidder regardless of price). If you choose a Reserve, you will work directly with our auction specialists to agree on a realistic, market-fair figure prior to the auction going live.

To begin, we just need the essentials to determine if your car is a good fit: the make, model, year, VIN, a clear and accurate photos, and some basic details. If your vehicle is accepted, we'll follow up to collect more in-depth information—such as your ownership history and the car's key features—so our team can craft a detailed listing.

Your active participation is the key to a successful auction. We require sellers to closely monitor their listing's comment section. Promptly answering bidder questions, providing additional requested photos, and being transparent builds trust and encourages higher bidding.

No. By agreeing to auction your vehicle with us, you are signing an exclusivity agreement for the duration of the auction. You may not offer the car for sale privately, on local classifieds, or on other auction platforms while your listing is live.

Standard auctions run for 7-10days.

The buyer will pay you directly. Supercarbid does not hold or transfer the purchase funds. We strongly recommend completing the transaction via a secure transfer (we recommend escrow).

If the auction ends and your vehicle remains unsold, all is not lost! Our team will reach out to both you and the highest bidder to see if we can help negotiate a post-auction deal that works for both parties.
